Custom made fuel tank - UK

I am about to pick up my Rieju Tango 250 Off-Road, nice, light, nippy little bike, but only 5.5 litres tank. Thinking maybe it could be the One for next big trip. Why change if it shows to be reliable? Anyway, the tank would be too small in that case, and I won't find off-the-shelves fuel tanks for such rare bike.
Has anyone got a fuel tank made to order in the UK (plastic or metal - prefer plastic as it would be lighter I think)? Can anyone recommend a company? Just exploring possibilities at the moment!
Cheers,

Sorry, can't help with your tank query but reading your post made me remember how important it is to research what's available via the aftermarket if the bike (or any vehicle for that matter) is not quite ready for its intended use. I've seen the same happen with a friend who bought a KTM engined Beta 440RR only to find that due to lack of sales, there was not the aftermarket support he'd have had if he'd bought a KTM in the first place.

A relative was very pleased with their recently acquired 1997 Alfa Romeo until it needed servicing & found to their horror that it required 8 very expensive spark plugs despite only having 4 cylinders. The plugs alone cost nearly €300.....

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
