Parabellum Windshield

Has anyone had any experience with the Parabellum windshield? Coverage for rider and passenge, noise and so on.

Parabellum

I have one mounted on my PD which I got on ebay. Postage from US to Oz was a bit steep but I've never regretted it. Wonderful weather/wind protection. I recently had a bit of a speed wobble over 100Km/hr (it was loose head bearings) so I took the screen off for evaluation. I couldn't believe how windy it was! Naked bikes suck! Definately recommended but your fuel consumption also goes up. Well made and simple mounting.

Parabellum fitted to F650GS

I bought one about 18 months ago, an 'extra height' one 2inches higher than standard.
Rider and passenger can ride at 70mph with visors up and talk to each other. It looks really odd 'cause its so big, but does the job perfectly. I first thought it would make the front of the bike feel light at speed, but it didn't, I thought it would make the wind buffeting - such as passing large lorries at speed- tricky, but it didn't. Can't recomend them enough.
Downside? riding at night in the rain because you look through the screen rather than over it, oncoming headlights scatter light so you need to keep it clean.
After 18 months of use and cleaning, it does have some small scratches on it which can refect and defuse the light a little when the sun is in front and low in the sky.

For which bike?

for which bike?

Opps! :oops2:
an F650 GS

another thing occured to me after I posted, I have bar risers fitted, and the 'cutout' on the parabellum screen which normally would go round the clocks, is now 50mm higher, and a draft blows under the screen, as you can't keep the original BM screen in place (it catches the new one on full lock), I made a small plastic screen to replace the original BM one, just to stop the draft, it works fine.
