Pannier Rack system with tray.
The 2004 BMW R1150 GS Adventure came out standard with a great pannier rack system that incorporates a fold away tray that the pannier sits on.
In the event of having to strap the pannier back on due to an accident (assuming the tray itself does not snap off), the fact that the pannier sits on a tray is great as it is one less item fighting gravity. Is anyone aware of a pannier system that does this that will fit a 2010 Tenere? I have been told that Kappa does one but have been unable to find anything to that effect. Lastly, assuming there are no "tray" systems available that will work, any recommendations on the best 35 and 40 Litre alluminium pannier and rack for this particular bike? The Yamaha OEM pannier does not appeal for a variety of reasons. All and any help would be appreciatted. Regards Rui
