Mitas E-09

Hi,
Mitas tyres are very cheap comparing others manufactures. I am interesting in buying enduro model E-09, almost same pattern as Michelin T63. Does anyone have expirience with this model, if yes, could you compare it with michelin T63 or conti TKC 80 in different driving conditions, wet/mud, durability etc.
Tnx in advance,

AnteK

I have used the mitas 8000km in deep sand and dry dirt roads, it's ok. Not so good as a knobbly but it lasts and lasts, 10,000km no trouble on my tt. Lots of rubber so good for puncture protection.

I'm currently using the E-09 front and rear on my KTM 640 Adventure.. Good wear life and has good traction on both street and dirt. I bought them since they are just about the only tires that have decent distribution in Romania, but must say that I'm quite pleased with them.

same opinion as before with mitas enduro E07.
i bought my r80g/s with them, i only drive in paris and just a bit of offroad : i feel confident with them, they stick well to the road, seem strong and long lasting, quite happy with them.

i was talking with some friends about michelin t66, t63 : they don t seem to stick to the road so well, no one feels really confident with them especially on wet ... and they may not last so long.

metzeller enduro 3 & 4 : used on my trip, excellent grip on road, wet, a bit less on offroad (they are less knobby) and last long : 15 - 20 000 kms on my trip

happy trails

Do not compare T66 and T63, those are totaly different tyres. T63 has perfect grip on road both dry and wet, better than , for example, Metz Enduro 3. Unlike T63, T66 have bad reputation on wet surface, and that is also my expirience.
