Miracle adaptor wanted!

So, on any given trip, you might have camera chargers, GPS chrgers, phone chargers, PC chargers and for the musically minded, MP3 chrgers.

Is there an adaptor that would allow you to charge any or all of these (not at the same time, of course) from a bike BMW-style power socket?

I am Europe based so a EU supplier would be ideal!!

I'm in the process of making exactly what your looking for. Pics to follow.

Keep me (us) posted!!

This is what I'm using:
Universal DC Power Supply > Maplin

It plugs into a standard car cigarette lighter. It's pretty easy to fit one to a bike, as I've done on my TTR250.
I use it for an MP3 player, portable speakers, and a hand-held iPaq computer. I'm pretty sure it'll also feed a rechargable shaver with a suitable plug connector.

Let's hope you can get more out than the Maplin at 1500mA Maximum!
My Asus needs 12 volts but 3 Amps & I still haven't found a single device that will deliver this as well as the ability to charge the rest- there is of course another view which is if the single device fails you loose the ability to charge all your phones/ipods/pc's/camera etc
What to do- Decisions decisions!:eek3:

Yes, I should have said on my post: ....... one at a time......

None of the things I take need more than 1A, and only occasionally do I need to power up two of them. So I actually take another (Maplin) device, a 1000mA version. Quite a bit smaller. So if one fails I have a spare.
Don't know about the long-term reliability of these Maplin things but I'll find out in due course I suppose. I hope they're as good as their soldering irons.

I have an old mains one, and did a wee soldering job quite a while ago in the back room. I was in there the other day cleaning up (don't do that very often) and found the iron still plugged in and hot, after four weeks.....
Took a long time to clean and re-tin the bit, but it's OK.

I would be using it to charge my camera batteries, those of my girlfriend (her camera, not her!) and AAs for my GPS. All of those run on the adaptor in the attached picture.

Can you tell me if one of the eight provided is the one pictured?
