KTM Adventure skidplates

Fellow Americans!

Adventure parts in our land are hard to come by. So some resourceful KTM owners banded together to buy some skidplates from Germany. We invite you to join us, if you want a high quality rally skidplate for the KTM Adventure R.

By buying them together, we will get a small discount and a considerable savings on shipping.

We are purchasing the skidplate from MRS in Germany. (www.ktm.de)

The MRS skidplate is made of 6mm aluminum plate, and has a 3 liter water container and a toolbox, or 2 toolboxes attached. The boxes are made of 3mm aluminum plate, and are removable.

Shipping for three skiddies from Germany by UPS would be about 400DM, by UPS (3-5 days)

So, the total breakdown would be on the order of
995DM (~$483.80 at today's Forex median price) for the plates
400DM (~$194.49/3 = ~$64.83 each) for Germany to US shipping

Plus any shipping within the US.
That will bring the total to about $550 per person, not including local shipping or bank fees.

I will negotiate a discount if we order multiples.

Please let me know before 4/4/00 if you are interested. Parties in the US only, please.

Sorry for the semi-commercial message, but I am trying to save all the other KTM owners from having to do all the homework I did already.

Thanks,

Christian

I am no longer accepting orders for the skidplates, but I am happy to provide information about the ordering process and the skidplate itself, via email.

I can be contacted at bjorn_edstrom@hotmail.com

Keep the rubber side down!
