IRAN Petrol Urgent!
Hello.
I am driving from france to cambodia with a 600XT who works with unleaded petrol. In Iran they only offer benzin. My english and my mecanic khnowledge is not good enough to know if I can put it in my motorbike without any damages> Do you think I can put Benzin or leaded petrol? What should I ask for?? In the middle east, benzine = petrol. It may be leaded in Iran but that's probably all you'll find so you don't have a lot of choice. A lot of petrol stations sell small bottles of additives for vehicles requiring unleaded fuel. I don't know if they help but my bike survived Iranian fuel. |

Stephano, it should be the other way round: old engines need additives to be able to use unleaded. That's the theory, anyway.
