Hawker Batteries Worthwhile?

Anyone any experience of these gel batteries? I've seen them sold as having a longer life than others.

Also, if the voltage is the same and the Ah rating equal or higher than standard, does this mean they can be fitted to your bike with no problems?

Thanks in advance

Ian,
I have used one for 15 months and no problems, it has more AH and is smaller than stock and it cranks my Elefant over right now! They can be mounted upside down or on their sides. I do feel it needs a longer test , but so far so good.
Allen.

I fitted one to my R80GS 18months ago. This battery has fantastic cranking power under severe conditions. Definately recommend one if you have a lot of accessory-socket output.
