Your can get a 23l tank from ascerbis but the fairing didn't fit the one I got. Otherwise the bike is a fantastic choice. Perfectly able of long journey with loads of luggage and not too uncomfortable. The suspension like to bottom out offroad which can jar your back a bit but then I never adjusted the preload on the shock as I couldn't be bothered!! :-)
Enjoy your trip - I'm jealous

I've just fitted the Acerbis 23l tank to my 1999 Dommie in preparation for planned R.T.W trip. It fitted snug and easily and the local petrol station pump said it just swallowed 24.5l from dry! It cost DM489 here in Germany and is well made. The only thing I don't like is the screw seal filler - not lockable.

Hi

I bought a lockable fuel cap for my BMW GS Acerbis tank from www.hpn.de, perhaps Touratech sell them now. Maybe it would fit your bike too?
