I tried a LED 1157 bulb I purchased at a local chain autoparts store, here in the US.
The light output was quite a bit dimmer. Several riders remarked that the brake light was difficult to see when following me. I took it out, and replaced it with a normal bulb.

I've seen it on the web too but once on my doorstep in Spain the price is ludicrous.
As I ride the bike I want it for off-road only it's of no importance wether it shines brighter or not. The fact it will remain shining ís. Any sources in Europe?
