Case Catches / toggle clips for homebrew alloy panniers? (UK)

Like the title says!
I'm looking for some padlockable (new word eh!) toggle catches for a set of alloy panniers I'm making, along the lines of these: rtw.xtz660 - Home made aluminium boxes

Can't find catches anywhere round here, and google drew a blank :confused1:

anyone able to help show me where I can buy?:helpsmilie:

Cheers,
Smudge

Smudge,

Try Penn Elcom - Flight Case & Speaker Cabinet Solutions

I've bought case hardware from them in the past. You might have to meet a minimum order charge but you will find something to make it up I'm sure. A couple of spare catches might not be a bad thing to have kicking around.

Brilliant link!!!

Those boxes look pro made.
The only negative I can see is the boxes aren't the same distance off the bike - the one on the RHS is further out (because of the exhaust).

Well done - they obviously worked (judging by the photos).

The link was actually found elsewhere on the HUBB so I can't claim any credit for that one :innocent:
I'm building similar but slimmer for my MZ Mastiff, I thought they looked pretty good too :thumbup1: there are a few little things I've overlooked during the build but they're getting there now, I'll try to remember to post some of my mistakes once I'm done to help others avoid them :oops2:

Cheers for the link BYT.

DJ Equipment from Djkit.co.uk is where i got mine along with the ball corners and alloy angle to make boxes similar to Alexpezzi's.

The ones on the happy Trails boxes are made by Southco, a USA based company. These are compression style latches with a padlock loop. My only complaint is they rattle quite a lot.
