Ideas for new satnav and bluetooth

I am just getting back in to biking and need some info on an entertainment system.

I currently have an autocom system, all wired etc etc to play my ipod through. However, I also need a new sat nav. I see some advertised have bluetooth that can play mp3 stuff in to the helmet, and have a phone (iphone?) connected. What I want is satnav; iphone or ipod connected; and passenger able to communicate and listen to music too. And with as few wires as possible. All to be fitted on a GS1200. I am overwhelmed with the stuff on the market. Any help would be appreciated. Based in Scotland. Are there any good stores that would fit the whole lot for me and even sell me the stuff straight up? Thanks.

Bluetooth = chargers. It's great not having wires but if you're riding day in day out you'll be doing a lot of charging up, so you end up carrying a whole bunch of chargers with you.

If you want to combine as much in one thing as possible have a look at a Smartphone or PocketPC, HTC make some good ones with GPS, MP3, wifi, browser, etc, built in and there's a lot of free software out there. They don't have the cool of the iPhone, but they'll do everything and more, aren't tied to one network and there's plenty on ebay.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
