Thanks Guys, Seb, the B'stones have done 18000 Km and still have a bit of life left, but I think the bike may have sat around a while in the sun (I am in Singapore and just got the bike) and the UV has hardened the edges, so they have become real slippery in the wet.
I have had Michelins before, so will have to see what they cost here.
