Triumph Navigator jeans review

Both my husband and myself got a triumph navigator jeans.

Under torrential rain several consecutive days they remained watertight.
The fit is superb for the women and I heard no complaints from the husband!
Straps on the side allow to get the waists tighter. They do not gap at the back.
The have various zips at the end of legs to allow for bigger boots.
They have vents on the thighs.
We did not use the thermal liner so no comment on those.
Love the fact they are not black. Sick of black clothing all the time. Lazy designers!
Pockets generous.

Bad point: heavy and not ideal in hot weather despite the vents. This is due, I suppose , to the in built waterproofing which make them quite thick so can be very hot.

Overall, very good, but as I said, not recommended in very hot climates or you will melt, but I deal in temperate countries.
But the fit for women is spot on!

I have been very interested in these pants but can't find a dealer where I can try them on. I am concerned about the length while sitting on the bike. Do they have long enough legs for a 6 foot tall guy and how do the waist sizes run, are they right on? Do you have the Navigator jacket to match and what is your review of it? Thank you.

My husband is 6'2" and he seemed happy in term of length. He had that problem with his previous trousers (Weise) that he loves but they are too short once in the bike.these seem longer. For me they are too long but I can close the lower zips and velcros and they won't drag on the floor.
Alistair take I believe 32 " long trousers. Hope this help.
Best to try though!

Regarding jackets no. I have the frank Thomas and Alistair once again loves his Weise jacket. Good sizing this time.
Cheers,

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
