The SideKicker

For years I have been looking for some way to have my sidestand taller for my 2007 R1200GSA. Last week, while searching the web, I found it.
Thought I would pass it on for those who are interested.

The SideKicker

I have had one for 6 months and it works great.

I have a BMW R1200GS and at times I had to circle a parking lot to find a spot that didn't have me leaning way over or almost up right.
(the parking lot at Cambria, CA)

It is a lot of money but I keep my bikes a long time and I like to set them up my way.

How much?

That money would go a long way towards buying a replacement shock with a remote preload adjuster that would allow you to keep the bike at a consistent height whether you had luggage on or not.

Nice but very expensive.
I have a very low-tech solution. In my tankbag, I have a piece of wood with a rope attached. When I need the sidestand, I put it under the sidestand to get the bike a little more upright.
When I go away, I get the rope that is on the handlebar and pull the wood up and put it in my tankbag.

Good point but; I put a three way shock on at time of purchase and after years of doing what you suggest my wrist thanked me for the SideKicker.
