Soft Bags and laptop

How do you guys keep your netbooks/laptops protected when using soft luggage?

Mine goes in the tank bag inside a ziplock plastic bag, absoultley no drama.

Mine also goes in the tank bag. Has survived 20+ dirt spills here without drama.

Tankbag sounds like a safe place exept I have a small bike (crf250l) with a small tankbag. Maybe a topcase (pelicancase) is a good idea?

I think that is the best if you have soft luggage!!

Petrus,

I understand what you are saying. A 10inch netbook forced me into a slightly larger tankbag than I really wanted on my KLR 650. I'm currently experimenting with a 7 inch tablet which seems to do all I need and will now allow me to use a smaller tank bag.

top luggagebag

I put my notebook in a small pillow and than in my softbag on top of my bike. Works perfect, 50.000 km, so many (minor)crashes and no problems at al

back bag

If its in the roll bag behind you its safe. Just dont put it in side bags. 200,000 km travelled that way. Over 120,000 km off road that way. Hundreds of river crossings. No problems with laptops.
