Smoothing the ride
 

Hi guys,

I'm planning a couple of thousand KM ride next month and are looking for help. I have a 89 Yamaha Tenéré and to say it vibrates is an understatement.

My right foot goes to sleep after about 30 minutes; so I'm thinking of installing a set of rubber foot pads, are they worth it ? I'm on a budget so the Touratech offerings are out of the question and they look easy enough to make, if only I can find blocks of rubber.

I also get battered about, are taller screens worth the investment ? My local GIVI stockist can no longer supply one another suppliers in northern Europe ?

Any other suggestions to improve my ride are very welcome.
