Motorcycle computers

I'm thinking of ditching the speedo and rev counter on the bike and fitting a motorcycle computer ,so far I have found 2 brands .
The TrailTech and the Acewell .
Has anyone any experience with either ?

You can also check the models from Touratech. They are made more for Rally bikes but is good for touring. Bit more expensive.
Just think about replacing your analogue instruments first. Your eye will find the reading of an analogue readout much faster than a digital one which might be changing figures accelerating or decelerating making it even harder to read.
A split second more spend reading an instrument can be a mater of life and death. Why do you think top manufactures stick to analogue readouts even though most instruments these days have a digital input.

Lightbulb computer for bike

I am using the Vapor model on few of my bikes and they are really great for the price , they do outside temp, water temp, mile or KM,2 stop clock ,time , and light, tehy work on thier own pwoer source or bike battery. I ride off road and road and they are pretty reliable.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
