looking for surfracks for motorcycles

does anyone know of a surfboard rack sidecar or overhead style that can fit on a variety of bikes? I am travelling in Southern France/Spain and need to transport a surfboard while there. Just for short runs but I believe that a trailer style board rack might be too light. Any advice from the surf community? feel free to Email me at link above. Thanks in advance!

Go to http://hometown.aol.com/mschue5938/mschuette.html or email Mschue5938@aol.com.

He makes large bike racks which should take a surfboard. Perhaps you could copy the design?I would have thought it would be really difficult in crosswinds?

I consider carrying a surfboard on a bike dangerous. You may get stopped by police and prevented from continuing.

Your options then are:

a small trailer
a sidecar
a car

Thanks, I am looking for a sidecar mounted rack I have seen in Hawaii but believe it was custom made. The crosswind can be a bit tricky but a trailer is too light and is a real danger at speeds over 30km. Brackets of the frame with a "v" facing up to mount the board is what I was hoping for. Thanks for te input, KB
