BUT I hate dealing with Touratech UK (and De wont sell to me, see post Touratech offer). So does any one know were i can buy something like this..

I need a "universal fit" because it is going on an AT, but with a custom rear rack and it is for a Jesse topbox..

Heres hoping you can help.

If you know anyone who lives on the European mainland you could get them to buy it for you or possibly just use their address and then get them to send it to you.

I use Touratech-Nord in Hamburg when I stay in Denmark. So if you are happy to collect you can order it through them. Admittedly, it is a long way to go for a single item. There are other German and European Touratech outlets, they are probably listed on their website.

Otherwise, are there any other manufacturers out there you can use. Can someone like Overland Solutions help?

Group buy from Touratech de

I have the same problem, my past dealings with TT uk have been awful, unfortunatly it seems almost a universal experience. How about a group buy..and use a post forwarding service or a contact in Germany?, or is anyone off to Germany soon and has space to bring stuff back?.( I want to Zega cases and fitting kitand bike mounting racks, its also a lot cheaper in Euro land!!!)

Suggest you give TT Australia a try. Brilliant service, informative, extremely helpful, and from time of ordering, the longest that anything has taken to arrive was 5 working days.

I've posted before offering an address in Spain if anybody is passing through on their way to Morocco. Touratech in Madrid are about the same prices as Germany, but given the costs of postage, it may not be any cheaper once you've added postage to the UK, but the service will without a doubt be better!!

Alternatively, if people can do a group buy and have it sent to my address we can look into the costs of a courier - there are always plenty of people doing van runs between southern Spain and the UK.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
