hein gerrik toureg jacket

tried a hein gerrik toureg jacket, the waterproof version which is £200, looks good and fits OK just wondered if anyone else has one of these and any comments on them.

Yep,
Mine was waterproof for less then 25.000k's. Was happy to spend a lot more (after months of saving) on a BMW jacket. Still wind and waterproof after 60.000k's.
Helped myself with an overal inbetween.
Wouldn't buy it.

Do a search on the HUBB. You'll find more info relating the HG clothing.

I also tried the tourag jacket, but would of probably preferred the HG voyager jacket. The Beemer gear is very nice but pricey. In the end I settled for a Belstaff Osiris jacket from Infinity Motorcycles (Bevois Valley Rd, Southampton). A £200 jacket which I think is still going at half price (£100). Not sure about long term - ask me again in September when I return from the Baltic.

It all depends on where you're riding. Living in Munich I often travel south. Mighty hot there in summer, so I consider it important to have the gore-tex or whatever on the inside jacket and have the outside shell nice and airy. For rainy wheather I always take along a rain suit. It also helps when it's cold.

thanks for the feedback, i'm in two minds now and the belstaff will get a look in now. I also carry a rain suit so full on stuff doesn't matter and to be honest if it's that bad i take a break but when hot it seems sensible to air yourself, Ive been stuck coming out of a race on a hot day and boiled in leathers to the point of nearly passing out.
