If you have a look in the Yamaha forum, a few people have used Hagon shocks on their XT's

Shocking

Recently a Moto Guzzi owner said, on the club website, that his new Hagons died between UK and Swiss border. He went to an Italian Guzzi specialist in Mandello del Lario, where Guzzi's are thrown together and their shocks transformed the bike's handling. Their shocks have Oehlin's internals. I hate to rubbish a UK maker but I hate cover ups more. The Guzzi club site is open to non members: Moto Guzzi Club GB The Italian company is Ricambi Moto Guzzi, Silenziatori, Ammortizzatori, Borse, Bauletti, Attacchi, elaborazioni Moto Guzzi They speak English, Italian and Bike. Their shocks are 420 Euros a pair. Obviously you could ask about your bike's suitability-even if it DOES have a very odd cylinder layout! Lindsay.

I'm using Hagon

I'm using Hagon shocks just now, custom made job on the back (spring and shock) and progressive springs on the front (Suzuki DL650) and I am also riding two up, total weight approx 450Kg. They have been on for approx 5500 miles, mainly on smooth roads but also on some less than perfect surfaces and I haven't had any issues yet, got them after looking on another V Strom forum (forgive me HUBB for I have sinned!) here is the link V-Strom Forum - Hagon Shock .

Not sure if that helps at all but at the moment I certainly think they are worth looking into a bit more.
