A folding BICYCLE along on your moto?!
 

If you're an avid bicyclist like i have always been, then doing a long moto trip means, no bicycle. My last ride, a year around South America, i took my mountain bike, strapped precariously on top of my back duffel! which was a pain to daily load/unload. But since i move slow and short, i enjoyed having it for exercise, or trips to the beer store/around town/ mountains.
For my upcoming trip (RTW/solo/3-5 years) i decided on a Xootr Swift. It folds into a small area, yet rides like a real size bike. I made a closed-cell foam "sandwich" to sheild it rite behind my back/in front of my top box. It only weighs 22 pounds.
