Smile Rider's Trip App - a mobile app for traveling

Hi guys,

I am pretty new to this forum, but been active on some other moto forums for a long time, and been riding for a longer time^^
I wanted to share this with you as I started working on it because of myself and ended up with a lot of people asking me to share etc so I decided to make it as an app and share with the rest of fellow adventurers

I was on several trips on which I had some bad experience so I decided to find and stick to biker friendly hotels and inns, lodges and motels. This app has a database of all those places across the globe and I am still loading the database every day since I collected so much information on such objects throughout the years. I hope somebody will find it useful. It is free and there is no ads and other horsepoo like that. Its made by riders for riders to help you have an easier time figuring out where to stay and what to explore.

For all those people who use android based phones and tablets you can find it here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...stripapp&hl=en

A small heads up:

We have three modes:

-Map-
Where you can explore the world map and see info about the hotels by pressing the green markers. On the same mode there is a helmet button to find your location if you are abroad in a foreign country.

-List-

Is the mode for filtering the hotels by country and easier search if you know a name of the hotel.

-Route-

You can create a route from your location to desired destinantion. By just pressing the marker the route will be automatically created or you can use the button on the bottom of the screen to open a dialogue window and input your destination's address.

I hope you will find it useful, we are planing several updates in the coming months to make the app more user friendly. We would love to hear your feedback so please feel free to share your thoughts with us through email(info@riderstripapp.com)
And of course feel free to share the link through facebook and other social networks or the good old spoken word

For those who have Iphone and Windows phone, my and my colleague are working on those versions and getting on apple store is a bit harder than Google Play so please be patient.

If you guys have fun using it and like it please let us know, send us links of your blogs and pictures, videos.

Like the idea, let users add locations and rate them (leave comments) and it could really take off and become very useful

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
