Not bad prices at all.

What about also Hein Gericke´s bags

Hein Gericke Roll Bag, 40 l

£9.99

Hein Gericke Roll Bag, 65 l

£14.99

Hein Gericke Roll Bag, 90 l

£17.99

Although it is not mentioned that they are 100% waterproof but cheap option too.
  • Watertight, weather-resistant and tear-proof
  • easy to secure
  • construction: 100% PVC

Being old (47 and some) here is my hard-earned experience:
Don´t bet the farm on the cheap bags. After a couple of years they may fall apart from exposure to the sun, will flake of the coating due to crumpling the bags, tie-downs etc. If you´re looking for bags to (a) take on the bike longer than you can remember how the seller looked like and (b) to guarantee a dry sleeping bag after travelling in monsoon weather, go for Ortlieb and any equivalent quality, not for the discounter or any MC outfitter promo stuff, which is good for icecream parlor-crusing.
Just my 2 cents
Cheers
Chris

Most Lidl offers are good value for what they are but you must move quickly - "When it's gone - it's gone"

The downside (I bought one) of these from Lidl ones, and as far as I can see of the others, there are no securing loops to pass strap through to hold it onto the bike safely - if the bag wriggles/vibrates/slides out sideways the first you know about it is when you reach your destination.
"When its gone -its gone" indeed!

Keks - if you want an 'old' contest, look me up. No contest if it about dates/years!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
