Worldwide GSM Coverage / TTQV map
 

Here's a new site with GSM coverage info worldwide (at least new to me):

There's also a lot of administrative, technical and historical info on the topic. Additionaly, they have a "big" pdf poster which shows worldwide coverage in one file: http://www.coveragemaps.com/gsmposter.htm

I couldn't resist and imported/calibrated the poster in TTQV. Here's the cal file: http://www.ryd.ch/images/GSM_WorldPoster2005B_png.cal

Unfornately I cannot publish a link to the map picture as the pdf is copyright protected. So if you want the map simply load the pdf in photoshop and export the whole file without any mods as png, size=8000x5522px, and name it "GSM_WorldPoster2005B.png". Or if you do not know how to do that, drop me a private mail and I migth remember the link to the png file http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif
