World Sim - Network Down
 

Just in case any of you use worldsim, the network is currently down, with no ETA on when it will be back up. The Tech support were not very helpful.

Typical- was rubbish just like maxroam! all song but $$$$ delivery where it worked)
Best thing IMHO is to buy a local SIM - that always works and mostly is cheaper-

Glad I wasn't alone with nothing but problems and high costs with maxroam:thumbdown:
On good advice received here, I also just get local SIMS.

+1 Maxroam, hardly ever worked and cost ££££££££, utter crap.

This one worked well for me across Europe, Turkey, the Caucuses and Central Asia.

I used it only for sending text messages, and used Skype for phone calls when I had wifi access (I was carrying a very small netbook).
