Thuraya-how to credit on a Hughes 7101

Hi there

Question is probably a simple one but has got me stumped. I've done an on-line purchase of credit useing Fillfull. Got an SMS text with the 14 digit number in reply confirming purchase. But then what? Their web site says

"Note: Thuraya subscriber have to extract scratch card number out of their sms and dial it manualy because some thuraya satellite phones do not have the feature to find numbers in the sms except 2nd Generation Satellite Phones.

What are the text messages having 14 digit number?
This is the regular 14 digit card number you would see on a plastic scratch card except we provide it to you via sms. Once you receive this number in a text message, extract it and press send. Your phone will be automatically credited in the amount purchased using the regular Thuraya network"

I assume I have to send the number as a SMS but to where? Simply doing what they say prompts the phone to make me enter a number to send it to.

I'm only asking you kind people because Fillfull haven't responded to e-mails I've send and calls to their office go to voicemail. An idiots guide to what to do would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,

I expect that the tel. number where to send the 14 digit number is mentioned on the scratch card but some nitwit who decided to replace the card with sms didn't realize this. Maybe try to get a scratch card too or maybe somebody who has a scratch card lying around can give the number.

My Thuraya accepts my normal subscription cell phone (Dutch KPN) card by the way. I just tried my card in the shop and it worked so i bought the phone.

Cheers,
Noel

When you have the 14 digit code via sms
You dial either 150 OR 151 (sorry it's been awhile)
then follow the voice prompts and be ready to enter your 14 digits when asked and I think you may have to put the hash key when done but the voice prompts are clear.
Hope this helps
All the best

Thanks Bertrand-I should have just called you up but I'd forgotten I'd bought it off you!

We're off on the 17th......and still so much to do.

I'll be in touch before we're off.

Right, this is what you do

You tap in 160 then the 14 digit number then press send. It is NOT a SMS message, simply a number you dial.

Why they don't tell you that on their web site is anyone's guess!
