Selling a Mexican registered bike in Costa Rica
Hello,
I'm considering selling my Mexican registered motorbike in Costa Rica... I've had a quick search of the forums but can't find anything useful. Anybody got any ideas about the process of selling a foreign registered bike in Costa Rica? Thanks, Colin.

Is easy, you have to sell the bike and the person who buys paid the taxes, if you need some help, contact me, I am in Costa Rica and I know how to do that.

Hi Oscar,
Thanks for your reply... we have arrived in Costa Rica now and are ready to sell our bikes, but I've just heard that the tax is 100% the value of the bike? Is this correct? If so, we'll have trouble getting a decent price here. It's been recommended we go to Panama to sell the bikes instead, any ideas about that? Thanks, Colin.
