Selling car in mexico/guatemala or elsewhere?
Hi guys,
I will be travelling through Meixco and perhaps further south in a registered/owned american vehicle, a Ford Windstar '96 model. Not the greatest of touring types I know. But I am hoping to maybe sell the vehicle in a central american country, if this possible? I found out its pretty expensive to re-register the vehicle in mexico to sell it, so I was hoping to hear of a cheaper/easier option somewhere else. I realise teh car wont be of much value, but if I can sell it someplace it would be great. Any information would be very helpful Mike

No easier anywhere else. Except Paraguay, of course. Or you can sell it to a fellow tourist who plans to drive it back to the States, if you can find one.
