Possible April 26th National Transport Strike in Mexico

Truckers are calling for a nationwide April 26th transportation strike beginning at 8am and for an indefinite period in order to protest truck hi-jackings throughout the republic. If it happens it will mean most major highways will be very slow or shut down totally depending on the state. Just a head's up for anyone traveling here at that time.

I'll be sure to post more info if it is going to happen, right now it is just the threat of one, but it will mean some serious traffic headaches in some areas!

Looks like it is a go for Thursday and will affect cuota highways, ports, and some city entrances and exits.
Heads up.
