Overstay in Nicaragu
Want to avoid an overstay in Nicaragua. My bike's permission is up in about three days and wonder if I can just ride into Costa Rica or Honduras and ride back out. Any knowledge?

As Nicaragua is part of the CA-4, going to Honduras will not work for you. You must cross the CR border.

Like Richsuz says, it's got to be Costa Rica. You MAY be required to stay in Costa Rica for 72 hours before returning to Nicaragua.
When we lived in Guatemala we often went to Mexico (after the CA-4 came into effect) and we almost always were able to return the same day but technically you had to be out for 72 hours. |
