Motocycle Licence test in C & S America - Help Needed
 

Hi all

Am planning my trip for ASAP but have a major problem - i don't have a ticket to ride!

Due to the expense of passing the test here in the UK, and the fact my provisional licence has "some" points on it, I am trying to find out where the best place in the region would be to pass the test as a foreigner.

So far i know that its possible but awkward in Uruguay and Arg though it seems for the former i would then be limited to sub-300cc machines for 2 years. Can anyone help with other countries?

Ideally would like to know how easy, what the cost is, how long it would take and whether it is a restricted capacity licence. Gutemala, El Salvador, Paraguay and Cuba are of most interest but can start my trip anwhere really!

PS any prices for used Hondas would also be very useful!!

Hi guys

It's now likely that i'll be headin g to Mexico after a few weeks in Cuba so i can hop over the border and buy a US bike, so will need my licence in either Cuba or Mexico for this to work...

Does anyone know about gaining a licence in these countries or where i might find out about the test???
