Mexico Temporary Importation Permit
 

I went through Tijuana last week ( Feb 27 ) and could not get a permit unless I drove to the airport to get it, but they told me ( bajercito ) that I could get it in Ensenada or La Paz at the ferry building before leaving, so I stopped in Ensenada for my first night an went to the Aduana to be told that they don't do it at all.
I wasn't worried as I knew that I would get it for sure in La Paz, which I did in the end, the girls spoke english very fluently which was a saviour as my spanish is rusty, 10 mn and done..
Yes I know..... I should be able to do it Mexico in spanish, but I will stop in Guatemala and take a immersion course for a week there beer.

Your name has come across few times through out few conversations and mikemike suggested to contact you before going to Antigua.

I haven't decided yet if I will be entering from La mesilla or from Belize yet, any suggestion?

Can you get Heidenau for my GS 800 ?
and also I would need a oil change, could you pm me and let me know how much you would charge for the tires.

I have planned to do a home stay and take private lessons.
Would you recommend anyone in particular ?
