Mexico Insurance

Any opinions or actual claims insurance with the Mexico insurance companies available online. I have used MexAdventure before and considering using them again with the Ace Segura Platinum service.
I don't know anyone that has had an actual claim so no experience how good they really are when you need them.

Anything anyone knows about that is available in the other central america countries?

I live in Mexico and can tell you that Mapfre and Atlas perform as good as or better than insurance agencies in Canada or the USA. What can slow down a claim is ineptness or corruption or tardiness on the part of any government bureaucrat or department that might have to be involved.
Make sure you have a proper registration, license, title, etc...before contracting the service and entering Mexico and make sure your insurance has an amparo clause, that is the part that can get you out and keep you out of jail.

Mike , is the " amparo clause " the part which in the
English part of the policy of my GNP Policy is called "Guaranteed
Bail Bond and Legal Assistance ?
Sounds like it .
My. GNP policy same section in Spanish is titled
Fianza Garantizada y Asistencia Legal and begins thus....
"De aparecer como amparada en la carátula de la póliza...."

Best to have all terms clearly understood

Yes, that is the one.
In legalese it is slightly different than what they offer for the English translation but it is as close an equivalent as you will find.
If your policy has that, you are ok.
