Looking to rent a place in Antigua, Guat.
Hoping to find an inexpensive place to rent for about a month in Antigua, Guatemala. I am in Baja now and will need to be in Antigua by May 14th. I am having a lady friend fly in and visit, then want to spend some time in one of the language schools there.

I stayed for about a month on and off at Casa Olga y David. It is a language school, but you don't need to take classes to stay in the guest rooms.
Universal Spanish School - Antigua Guatemala They have a fantastic courtyard (2 actually wher eyou can park the bike), good kitchen, wifi, and have very good prices especially if you stay for more than a week. I highly recommend them. I dont know if there are any prices published on the website, but make sure you negotiate them down significantly. No one pays published prices for anything. Also don't get the meals or stay inside the house with the family, stay in the guest rooms. The food that they eat is good, but there are so many other good places to eat in Antigua. Plus, cooking there was always fun. I just sent an email to one of my friends down and asked she knows of anything else.. Enjoy Guatemala!! I probably had more fun in Antigua than anywhere else on my trip.
