KTM parts needed in San Salvador

I need some gaskets and found them online on ktmtwins but they do not ship abroad : ((
they are located in San Francisco. I wonder if anyone could pick them up and send them to me or knows another source. Do not want to lose even more time...
Thanks a lot!

Bump!

Bump.

Help a brother out, please.

I'm trying to help, but I'm 400 miles south of San Francisco. They will ship them to me and I can forward them to Norschweger but that will greatly increase the delay in getting the much needed parts to him in El Salvador.

The man is an ace.

Anyone?

Hi! Are you back?
Well, opened the cylinder, changed all gaskets, only to see that it is burning oil now...opened again. compression in the front 175psi, rear 75!!
piston rings have reached the limit, one has two small edges. Tomorrow the valve guides will be checked for play. Another 10 days or so in San Salvador...running out of time. Will barely make it to Costa Rica to store it...Grüße

Is your presence really necessary for the entire ten days? It would be a shame to spend all your available time fretting about parts and repairs. Sometimes the key to a happy trip is setting the bike aside for a time and using other transport to see the sights. I've done this while waiting for repairs in Canada (went to Europe for most of a month), Suriname (returned to Paramaribo), and Buenos Aires (explored the city itself along with bits of Uruguay).

Hope this is helpful.

Correct!
I was only here to help and see what is going on until we decided which parts to order where...Tomorrow I will ride a small enduro on a track, together with many others. An invitation of the KTM shop ( even though my bike is in another shop ). Wonder if it has to do with the mails to Austria...
then I will spend some more days in El Tunco and finally visit a coffee plant and climb a vulcano. Some more spanish lessons won`t hurt either... : )
