el Salvador, "Convencion" in Feb?
 

Ran across this brief mention of an event in el Salvador in February. We're actually intending to be in the neighborhood about that time and wonder if there's anybody who knows more?

Hi, I believe this is an event sponsored by the only dealer for BMW motorcycles in the country:

When we were in San Salvador in 2008 we happened to be at the shop a couple of days before the event but the cost was too high for us to participate (if memory serves, it was 120US per person).

thanks for the info! yep, that's pretty steep, I woulda made the same choice.

cost includes two day rides with lunchs, event polo shirt, convention pin, stickers, two dinners and all you can drink.
