El Salvador border crossing
 

Can`t remember the name but there is a border crossing from Guatemala to the north of El Savador on the CA13. Has anyone any information about it? Is it open on Sundays and is it a difficult crossing?

Don't know the top one, but if the central one is of any use to you I know it's open on Sundays. There's not much driving distance between the two. Blackbeast has a fantastic point-by-point of that one posted up here if it's any use to you....

I did the bottom one, close to the coast, and although it took a bit of time, as there was plenty of trucks, I had no problems whatsoever.
Hope it helps somewhat.

North borders with Guatemala are Anguiatu and San Cristobal, both are opened 24/7 , problem with San Cristobal is market days , (most weekends)

Thanks for the advice guys - we crossed at Anguiatu today, took about an hour or so, very quiet, no problems!
