Crossing Borders on a borrowed bike
 

I have the chance of borrowing a friends' bike in USA and would quite like to ride down thru Mexico to visit family in Guatemala.

Anyone see a problem crossing these borders on a borrowed bike?

On our trip through Central America we came across a fellow trying to enter Guatemala with a borrowed car and they would not allow him to. His name had to be on the registration.

No problem, have your freind sell you the bike for a few weeks.

Remember it is often just as easy to meet a rule as to try and beat a rule.
