Creel - Copper Canyon
 

I just got off the phone with Yolanda from www.the3AmigosCanyonExpeditions.com -- She said that Ivan, Salvador, and she really enjoyed meeting the HU travelers at the meeting last week.

The amigos gave us some great tips and suggestions including:
- GPS co-ordinates and route description for the route from Batopilas to Urique.
- Viewpoint near San Rafael, with better views than imaginable -- this is where 3 major canyons come together. This blows away the views at El Divisadero.
- Great road down to the Recowata Hotsprings, the route starts only a few miles from Creel
- The "back way" into the Cusarare falls -- we rode to 450 meters from the falls.
- A great goat trail to Sisoguichi, via the Valley of the Monks, including some great river crossings and gnarly trails.
