Costa Rica to South America
 

Hi, I'm facing with the possibility of not getting a visa to visit Panama, and need to look at alternatives to get around it in a cost efective manner.

Does anyone know of a transport service between Nicaragua or Costa Rica to Venezuala, Colombia or Eqador? Any of the above will do. We will prefer a boat ride, but will fly if it is a lot cheaper than boat. I'm not looking for a cruise, just transport between the two continents without having to go to Panama.

Before you ask, it takes one month for South African citizins to get a Panama visa, and we have been waiting a month in USA now and it is not yet ready, and we are running out of our USa visa time and a huge chunk out of our budget, I'm not waiting again one month!
