central America visa and bike papers
 

Hi guys I am going to cross from Laredo Texas to Panama very soon with my bike and wanted to see if any of you had problem to get visa or paper for the bike in any border crossing in Central America.

None of the borders should cause you any real problems. DO read the border crossings pages - on the left menu - there's lots of great info on CA.

Hi mate,
Well the things you need are Proof of registration, Proof of registration, a big smile and a good laugh and sometimes patients. When i crossed the borders through central america, i had absolutly no problems, except for the nagging border beggers who can get you through quicker, but cost a fortune. I did not use any of these as i like the chalenge with my best Spanish (non-Exsistant). I always made sure every border crossing was early in the morning, to beat all the crowds.
