Central America Tips

Jeff Munn has posted his list of tips and suggestions for traveling to Central America including:

Language Issues
Timing
Preparation
Documentation
Border Crossings
w/ special notes for each country.

I'm not an expert traveler but the notes appear to be well thought-out.

Road conditions are variable... all over the board from decent to potholes the size of large trucks. However, be aware that this will be the rainy season in much of CA. I'm in Panama, and the rains are just about to start (actually, they are late).

Steve is right, we will be in rainy season then, however if you stay on main roads you shouldnt have more problems than on any other kind of bike. August and September is when it really purs ¡¡
Send me a message if your riding through El Salvador, I coul hook you up with Harley riders here.
Ride safe
Mario
