Calling Cards in Mexico
 

Hi, what's the best way of calling home while in Mexico?? Do cell phones work in Mexico and if so are the charges high?? Can the calling cards bought in the states work in Mexico or is it best to buy in Mexico?? Is there a calling card that will work in Mexico and the C/A countries as well ?? Thank You for time !

The cheapest card I have found is the Andina it costs $100 (pesos) and i get over 200 minutes to England. You can use it all over Mexico and the States. There website is www.andina.com.mx They hava a number in the states 1866-405-3227 not sure if you can actually talk to a person or if it is just to place calls. I use Cingullar in the States and also have the service in Mexico. The pnone has to be compatible with the service in Mexico and you have to talk to your service provider. I use it a lot in Rosarito and Ensenada ( just south of the border) but I have used it in central Mexico as well and it worked fine.
