BMW dealers in Panama City

Hi,

I`m planning on being in Panama City within the next couple of weeks and need to do a oil change, replace tyres and probably chain and sprockets before heading for SA. Has anyone got any info on the BMW dealership? Or best places to get new tyres and chain, etc?

Any help/advice welcome!

Thanks

Bri

I stopped at Bavarian Motors in Panama City to have an oil change and windshield repair after I hit a buzzard near Yaviza , the mechanic was good and they took me in right away.
Do not expect to find a chain and sprockets for the bike they do not stock them ethier does MPH which is another general parts dealer.
Call ahead and ask if they could bring them in from Guate. City( thats where you should have stopped)
I stopped at the free zone at the border between Panama and C.R. at Moto Repuesto Del Sur and there I found a chain and both sprockets for my 650. Phone number is 506 3732 2016 They only had 1 of each and that was a miracle! stuff is expensive in C.R. so plan ahead and give
BMW in Panama a call, number is 301 5400 email bavarian@fasa.com.pa

Hi I am a Brit expat living near to David, Panama. You are welcome to stop by for a while if you wish.
If you want to order your parts from the US I can let you have my mail forwarding address in Miami to bring the stuff to David, normally about 2 weeks but possibly a little more with xmas coming up, tax & shipping to be paid on top of the price in US.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
