I crossed today at La Mesilla. How can anyone say no problems? The place was packed. Thank god I had a motorcycle or I might still be in line. Hey James! No insurance just cancelling the Mexican permission, going to immigration for Guate for a passport stamp and the bike permission place for 55 Quetzals. At least they were smart enough to put a bank right next door. You can bargain with the guys outside for conversion of currencies. It was all fun except for the traffic. It is hard to believe that it took all day to go from San Cristobal to Xela and cross the border.
