Hi Paddy

We just missed you, we're in Colombia.

Did you managed to sort out the Aprillia after the electric problem in Guatemala?

Hey Johan!
How's it going? How's Charmaine?
The electrical problem recurs every 4 weeks or so for a day. I pull the loom apart and don't find anything, then put it back on the bike and she's fine for a month!
The new rear shock collapsed though, and strangely they aren't replying to my emails this time! Hey ho! How's the BM?
Ride safe and enjoy Columbia

Charmaine's fine
The GS had an oil leak on the rear dif (Shaft), no big deal. It was replaced by the dealer here. Olso got new tires and is now ready for the long haul down to TDF before it starts to snow in June/July.

We met 3 bikers in Cartegena that is on their way to Panama city. Their boat left friday, and they should be in PC on monday. It is a German on a Virago 535, a Portugese on a Transalp and a guy from Spain on a Harley Davidson. Nice guys, I'll PM you a mail contact to hook up with them.

Hope to see you again on the road in the future.

Johan

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
