haven't had much luck with cotton (monkey butt), stay damp. I carry a couple of pair of patagonia shorts. I found some that do not have sewing seams on pressure points. Quick to wash and dry. If I have to "extend" their service between washings, no problems, as long as I have air movement.:innocent:

There must be someone that has used this clothing out there. I seem to remember a comment from Grant but no matter how I search for it I can't find the thread.

That may be why no one has tried them.

I have a pair of the dry-line underwear. I like them, they're comfy and easy to clean, but i wouldn't pay the price for another pair, quite expensive for what you get.

DLcomfort tights
 

I have the DLComfort tights. I used them almost every day last september, when we went down to Portugal via France and Spain.
The tights are fairly thick but I thought they were very comfortable, in all kind of weathers from very hot to very cold, and kept me dry.
I liked them so much that I bought a pair for my husband!

My only criticism would be that they are unisex, and as such, have no "gusset" (is that the correct name?). This is VERY annoying for women. Without gusset no way to use panty liners etc...
As a result I had to ride sometimes with underwear, plus the tights over. It still helped as the tights, as I said, are fairly thick, so the seam of my underwear was not causing as much pain as without tights.
Maybe I put more information than requested (!), but I thought from a woman point of view this is important!

I have the Dryline shorts - first class, and definitely recommended to cure monkey butt syndrome. DON'T USE COTTON! Cotton is the WORST to ride in.

Bicycle shorts - without the chamois insert - are the cheap way to go, but I think not as good as the Dryline. The Dryline's heavier duty and will wear a lot better, making them better value for money in the long run. Not cheap, but good bike stuff never is.
