HJC IS-MAX Problem

Hi .. I wondered if anyone has had the same problem with HJC IS-MAX and the visor mech screws becoming loose and falling out ??

I have found the UK importer OXFORD PRODUCTS help line all most too tired to be bothered as its not a stock part .. Yes you HELEN !!

Mean while after a week I still have an unserviceable lid . If any of the community have an idea where I can get a replacement screw without paying £8 and £26 delivery from USA . I would be much obliged ..

Are you sorted yet ?

We sell HJC and have got spare screws - PM me an address and I will get one in the post (or do you want two ?)

No charge - just stocking up on the 'good Karma' account for future travels

Same problem

I had the same problem last year with one screw that rattled loose and ended up bodging it with some glue until I found a bike dealership on the road that stocked HJC kit and they replaced it FOC

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
